Since 2009, the Citrus fruits Producers' Organization of Tragano, began a restructuring plan of the varieties of citrus produced by its members by promoting new varieties which are both more commercial than the old ones and also help meet the target set for harvesting and trading throughout the year.

The activities of the cooperative are:

  • marketing the products
  • planning of the production and adaptation of these products according to the demand
  • improving and maintaining product quality
  • promote the cultivation methods, production techniques and environmentally friendly operations
  • reduce the growing cost
